Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Quote My Build platform. By creating an account or uploading a project, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Quote My Build coordinates quotes between owner-builders and Australian construction suppliers. We facilitate communication and present combined proposals. We are not a builder or licensed trade and do not perform construction work ourselves.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate details and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Quotes & proposals

Supplier quotes are indicative and subject to each supplier's own terms. Accepting a proposal creates a direct contract between you and each awarded supplier. Quote My Build is not a party to that contract.

4. Fees

Using the platform is free for owner-builders. A success fee is invoiced to the trade when work is awarded — never to the customer.

5. Acceptable use

• Only upload plans and information you have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to bypass suppliers on the platform to avoid fees.
• Do not misuse the platform, other users' data, or infrastructure.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Quote My Build is not liable for construction work, supplier performance, or any indirect loss arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
