Quote My Build ("we", "us") is an Australian procurement platform for owner-builders and construction suppliers. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

• Project information and files (house plans, specifications) you upload.
• Quotes, messages, and proposals exchanged between customers and suppliers.
• Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and usage logs.

How we use it

• Coordinating quotes between owner-builders and trusted suppliers.
• Delivering proposals, notifications, and account communications.
• Improving the platform and preventing misuse.

Sharing

Your project details are only shared with suppliers you (or our team on your behalf) invite to quote. We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) bound by confidentiality.

Storage & security

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with encryption in transit. File uploads are held in private storage accessible only via signed URLs. We apply row-level access controls so customers only see their own projects and suppliers only see RFQs they are invited to.
